Yeah, Sony's following came from PS3. Not that they ruled the market for years..... And "OG xbox" wasn't even around when PS1 was in it's prime.

And I'm quite sure the PS2 out sold the Xbox. Hence Microsofts plan of beating Sony to the market this gen. They knew it was the only chance they had. And even now, Sony is catching up.

Everyone I knew had a PS2, only a few had a Xbox. And now in real life my older friends all have PS3. Xbox was just cheaper was all.

Not only is it just 40 million, but a lot of them are repurchased systems by the SAME customer due to the RRoD. While the PS2 had minor issues of its own it isn't anywhere near what the 360 has had.

But whenever I go to my friends house to play the "og xbox" I find it to be the crappiest system I ever had the displeasure of playing. My ps1 had graphics that good. I still beat my buddy though in some old swbf2. But when he comes to my house on my ps2 with swbf2. He comments on the graphics and how much better they are. He got a 360 recently. And I find that my ps2 looks just as good as that overpriced piece of junk. PlayStation FTW.

On the HDMI cable, I bought a 10ft one for 3 bucks (Amazon). I was surprised at the difference. I didn't like the fact all my text on screen is smaller but it's a lot clearer for sure.

If you are going to pick up inFamous then look for the controller + inFamous bundle on Amazon for $60. That's the best way to pick up Resistance, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, and inFamous.

Otherwise the controllers go for $55 in stores like Best Buy and Wally World.

Also, I think I'm gonna end up getting a Xbox 360 120GB Elite with Forza Motorsport 3 and ODST included. It's $198 + $4 shipping. Cheapest good deal I found on Amazon, since it goes for 250 retail... If there were a PS3 offer floating around 200 I'd take it, but there ain't. So if ya'll can convince me that the extra 40 bucks for a PS3 is extremely worth it (btw, most people at my college have 360's. However, most do not know how to connect to the internet with said console. Some that have PS3s know...), I will consider it. But a $200 120Gig Elite with 2 game bundle is kinda hard to beat...
